1 Make a gradient.
2 Choose the Rectangle Tool (M).
3 Click on the page and set the Options to 300 pt and 75 pt.
4 Again click on the page and set the Width to 150.
5 Move and place the shorter pieces behind (Ctrl+[).
6 To the left side in the middle, add an anchor point. Add an anchor point to the left side in the middle.
7 Choose the anchor point and select the Direct Selection Tool. Press Shift, or the right arrow. Move inward.
8 Using the Selection Tool, double-click on the Reflection Tool. Make sure Vertical is selected. Press Copy.
9 Move it over into place.
10 Place some text and press Ctrl+Shft+O to convert the text into outlines. Using the Selection Tool (V), choose the text and ribbon. Press Ctrl+G to group.
11 Go to Warp Options and choose Arc. Set to Horizontal with a Bend of 23%.
12 Select Object>Expand Appearance to reset the piece. Add a few touches to get an interesting banner or logo.
