Shown below is a logo that will be cut out in vinyl. Before that, you need to add more depth to the inner section of ‘D’ by adding outlines.
For this, choose all of the text.
To convert the text to outlines, choose Type and then Create Outlines.
The text gets converted to a graphic (or outlines).
Choose the letter ‘D’.
To duplicate it, press Ctrl+F to reserve it in the exact position. Choose Path and click on Offset Path.
Create an offset number using negatives.
Save the image. It’s ready to be cut in vinyl.
